  • “Mr. Keith is a fabulous instructor. He focused on getting my kiddo comfortable in the water, increased her swimming skills, and emphasized water-safety."

    Amy L., San Leandro,
    Preschool Parent

  • “People were blown away when they saw my five year old swim freestyle and dive for toys in the deep end of a pool at a party this summer. They couldn’t believe he had only been swimming since he was 4 and not since he was a baby. That’s how much progress he has made taking lessons with Mr. Keith.”

    Cassy S., Pleasanton
    Parent of 5 yr old

  • “Keith has been teaching both of my boys to swim for many years. He taught my oldest about swim safety and how to perform freestyle like a champ. My youngest started taking private lessons with Keith last year and has seen tremendous success with swim safety and confidence in the water. There aren’t enough words to express our gratitude to Keith for what he’s done for our kids. Knowing they are OK in the water is a huge stress relief as a parent. We feel like we really lucked out with his private lessons!! Can’t recommend him enough!”

    Kathryn C., Livermore

Parent of 5-yr old and 9-yr old

  • “Keith is incredible. A natural with kids. He talks in a language they can understand and learn. He’s encouraging. And he is extremely good at what he does. He really knows his stuff. Our five year old has become an excellent swimmer. Keith teaches technique but still has a way of making it fun for the kids. He is a born leader, always very kind and respectful. Keith deserves a 5 star review, and I recommend his services highly. If you want your kids to learn how to swim, choose Keith.”

About Coach Keith

My affinity for the water began when I was a child taking swim lessons in Redwood City, California. I played high school water polo for all four years and was the captain for two of those years. I was also on the swim team.

I then went on to work at an instructional pool in Livermore for over five years. Since that time period I have created ways to teach children of every age with compassion, sincerity, and happiness. I have found a balance between kindness and sternness so that children can have a positive and joyful experience while they learn some of the most important life saving skills.

My teaching style is a balance of kindness, positive reinforcement, consistency, and structure. My program is designed to teach my students to swim, instilling a life-long love of the water, build self-esteem, and confidence through swimming techniques.

Safety is always my first and most important priority. I am fully lifeguard certified as well as AED, First Aid, and CPR certified.
